Here is our road report — brought to you by Peninsula Ford Lincoln in Port Elgin, Meaford and Owen Sound — whatever it takes, wherever you are, we’ll make it happen.
ROAD CLOSURES:
ALL Bruce County Roads are CLOSED due to blockages and stranded vehicles. Plows are currently working under road closed conditions.
All Grey County roads are closed due to poor visibility.
All roads in Huron and Perth Counties are also considered closed.
In Owen Sound — 8th Street East at the hospital is NOW OPEN
But Police say you should drive cautiously in the City — and secondary roads in the City are still not plowed
Owen Sound City Transit Buses remain off the roads as well — officials will re-assess the situation at 8:30 this morning.
In Saugeen Shores — plows have cleared the main in town roads — but motorists are still advised to stay off the roads.
All roads are snowcovered with drifting and visibility is fair to poor.
One road is opening — Highway 26 from Meaford to Collingwood is open but Highway 26 is CLOSED from Owen Sound to Meaford
But other roads are still closed.
All of Highway 6 is closed
Highway 21 is CLOSED from Jackson to Grand Bend
Highway 9 is closed from Kincardine to Harriston
Highway 4 is CLOSED from Clinton to Exeter.
Highway 8 is CLOSED from Goderich to Mitchell.
Highway 23 is CLOSED from Mitchell (Line 32) to Highway 7.
All roads are snowcovered with drifting and visibility is fair to poor.
Again, all roads are closed.
BRUCE COUNTY ROADS
ALL Bruce County Roads are CLOSED due to blockages and stranded vehicles.
Plows are currently working under road closed conditions.
GREY COUNTY ROADS
The OPP have advised all Grey County roads are closed due to poor visibility.
Owen Sound, Chatsworth & surrounding areas    — heavy snow covered, heavy drifted sections, snow packed, blowing snow, visibility is fair to poor at times, all plows are out with eight inches of snow overnight.
Meaford, Thornbury & surrounding areas — snow covered, heavy snow covered, drifted, heavy drifted, bare and dry, center bare, track bare, light snowfall, moderate to heavy drifting, blowing snow and all sanders and plows are out.
Durham, Hanover & surrounding areas — bare and dry to track bare, snow packed, heavy drifted sections and visibility is fair to poor.
Dundalk, Flesherton & surrounding areas — bare and dry to track bare, snow packed, drifting and visibility is fair.
